Chanique Rogers was born on the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Her family emigrated to the United States in 2003 and Chanique grew up in Brooklyn, New York – far different from her homeland. She discovered a passion for track and field at Tilden High School but soon began modeling and singing. Inspired by the likes of Tina Turner, India Arie and Jill Scott, Chanique has performed on BET’s 106 & Park as a Spotlight Artist as well as providing background vocals for world renowned singer and music composer Aziza Miller and violinist Daisy Joplin. Rogers has also repeatedly appeared on ABC’s daytime television show “The Chew”, performing alongside RCE ensemble.
