The Jared Cooper Quartet

The Jared Cooper Quartet was formed at the Oberlin Conservatory. They met while studying there with jazz luminaries such as Billy Hart, Eddie Henderson, and Gary Bartz. Currently on a tour of the Northeast and Canada, they are thrilled to be making a stop at Alvin and Friends for a night of music on Thursday, January 17th.  They play a mixture of jazz standards, Brazilian music, and original compositions by the band members. The musicians are Jared Cooper on drums from Phoenix, Arizona, Will Ross on guitar from Larchmont, New York, Ari Smith on bass from Shaker Heights, Ohio and Wallace Roney jr on trumpet from Montclair, New Jersey. No cover charge.
