Andrew Beals Trio with Chris Morrison

Saxophonist Andrew Beals brings his trio to Alvin & Friends on Friday, August 16th. With guitarist Chris Morrison Beals has just released a jazz quartet record on Centaur Records called “Maybe Someday”.  No cover charge but tables are reserved for diners and there is a two-drink minimum at the bar.

Beals was a semifinalist at the 1993 Thelonious Monk Jazz Saxophone Competition; and in 1998 he was awarded the prestigious NYU Jazz Orchestra Scholarship for graduate studies in Jazz performance and composition. Andrew Beals is currently an Adjunct Professor of Jazz Saxophone and Jazz Improvisation at Western Connecticut State University (W.C.S.U.)
