Lou Volpe returns to the main dining room. A master of the jazz guitar, Volpe is known for the warm, lyric romanticism of his technique. A veteran sideman, he has performed and recorded with a range of artists, from Peggy Lee and Chaka Khan to Chet Baker, Phoebe Snow, The Manhattan Transfer and Herbie Mann. No less an expert than George Benson calls Lou Volpe a “great guitarist.” No cover charge, but tables in the main dining room are reserved for those ordering a meal and there is a two-drink minimum at the bar.
